Fantastic ribeye steak . I had the prime but can't compare it to the choice option as I haven't tried it yet . Ordered the onion rings appetizer and was pleasantly surprised at the crispy Slightly sweet goodness those are. I had a baked potato with my steak. The potato was , a potato. It was good but not extraordinary in flavor or size. The green bean side was good as well as the fried okra. The large sides were ample enough for two or three to share . Prices are fair for a premium steak house . The three of us ate with appetizer and 3 sides for 180 with gratuity. The service was on point for the most part . The ambiance is relaxed steakhouse vibe. This is a nice spot to take a date or entertain a client . I look forward to my next visit to try other items on the menu.

Hello, I am sorry for no photos. I am usually a better Yelper than this. Bare Bones in cute Downtown Buford. It is in an old rustic area that i wouldn't mind checking out in the day again. Bare Bones is a place to find BEEF! There are very few choice besides BEEF! Tenderloins, Ribeye, tomahawks, sirloin, strip. Done the way you want it. I had the 12oz tenderloin. Smallest cut you can get!!! BEEF! Drinks were good, ambience and service as well. I will go back sometime. Ok they have salads and some sides! You all win! Go hungry with steaks on your mind. It is a solid choice!

This place is always special to me the food is exceptional it's not for the faint of heart if you're worried about your pocketbook. But quality versus value for the dollar for me it's perfect. The service is always been exceptional and the quality of the food extremely good. This is my go-to place what I want to impress somebody or just do something really special for myself. I don't like to eat by myself but it's entertaining to watch the people

Bare Bones is a serious steakhouse right in downtown Buford. Having moved locations to further up the street, their new location is beautiful and the both levels of the inside are extremely classy and sophisticated. The owners live right on Main Street and source all of their meet themselves to ensure the best quality cuts. One of the best filet mignons I've ever had, and they cook everything personalized to you. I enjoy a butterfly cut filet and usually get bacon crusted sides aswell. Very very good.

We met friends here for dinner. We arrived early and were able to sit at the rooftop bar for a cocktail. The rooftop is beautiful. The bartender made excellent cocktails and it was an unseasonably warm evening so it was really nice. The staff were all great. For dinner we were seated on the second floor which used to be a basketball court and the backboard and basket are still present. Thankfully it wasn't loud. I had the prime rib which was delicious. The owners of this restaurant also own the Atlanta Meat Market so we all went with steaks. We had the onion rings, artichoke dip and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We had the bananas Foster's and peach cobbler for dessert. We would definitely come back.

Service and food are great; ambiance, it's a steakhouse! A bit noisy; likely a wait, especially weekends; but it's all worth. Indoor/ outdoor (balcony) seating. Decor is southern, maybe a bit "plantain-ish". A good alternative to the chain steakhouses. Prices, truthfully "all-in" $$$, but still a lively and very enjoyable experience. We go every couple of weeks, and enjoy each dining experience.

This is such a cool place. A nice, upscale steakhouse with a rooftop bar. Jessica was our server and she was excellent! She explained the history of the building, the decor, and the menu very thoroughly. The food was absolutely excellent. (The menu prices on yelp are not accurate and they do need to be updated however the menu prices on their actual website are accurate.) We came with a large group -- 9 to be exact, and we had a reservation. They worked us in early even on a Saturday night. We started off with the onion rings and spinach artichoke dip. First and foremost the onion rings are the best I've ever had in my life. I'm not even joking. They're so light and crispy, glazed in honey and sprinkled with red pepper flakes and finished with fresh shaved Parmesan. They're absolutely incredible. The spinach dip is delicious as well! I had the bone in prime ribeye and my partner had the Hawaiian ribeye. Our sides were asparagus, sweet potato soufflé, fried okra, and fries. We also sampled the macaroni and cheese which was super cheesy and creamy and topped with bacon! We enjoyed everything. The sweet potato soufflé was delicious, topped with house made marshmallow! The asparagus was grilled to perfection and the okra is fried with pieces of battered onions. We were so stuffed by the time we finished everything else that we essentially forgot the fries -- but they looked delicious and you get a GIANT portion for only $4! We will definitely be returning for special occasion dinners in the future.
